Used the Ash brown on very stubborn grey hair. Still partly grey but also has a purple sheen. I've read with conventional colors that means it was on too long..over done.. so wondering if with this herbal application what would reverse the purple color?

Hi Joe, most important we figure out where the purple hue is coming from, most experience this from alcohol related products, hair gels, shampoos or even there water source, this happens with chemical hair dye as well as henna hair dye. I had a guy in Michigan that had a similar situation, and he started using bottled water to mix his powder with and it resolved his problem. On our instructions we say not to use bottled water as it usually turns the dye to a purple hue, however in his situation it did the opposite and he has never had a problem since. We did extensive trouble shooting for him as he was determined and also a public figure with a acting career. He also learned his hair gel was the biggest part of it, but using bottled water did the trick. Purple is very rare and as a lot of people want very purple colored hair, usually it takes mixing indigo with alcohol (Bud Ice works wonders) to get a purple effect.
