My hair is a natural medium ash brown. I have white and silver roots. I used the Harvest Moon brown but my roots are a copper color. Since my hair is short, even though I applied to roots only, the majority of my hair is brown but a little lighter than I prefer. If I use the Earth Brand Ash Brown, will I get a natural Ash brown all over with gold highlights from the white roots? If I'm trying to avoid a two tone look, should I go do a different brown?

Can you upload a picture please? This way I can give you a recommendation. Also you need to be careful with what shampoos you use. With Ash Beach Brown baby shampoo for example can cause it to turn green/red/blue also, V05, and Dr. Bonner's have issues as well. I would recommend our natural aloe vera shampoo or natural henna shampoo
Phone is dead so I am unable to do a picture. I have been using Juisse shampoo and conditioner.
It is very odd you would get copper, ash does not have any red, so I would assume it was the shampoo. Can you tell me your last name so I can look up the order? When do you think you will have your p[hone charged? Uploading a picture can be extremely helpful.
My natural hair color is medium ash brown. I used a brown henna. I saw on one of the blogs that if your hair has too much red on the white roots, do color it again with brown. Since my hair is a natural medium ash brown, I was wondering if I used the ash brown if it would eliminate the red. I ordered the henna from Amazon.
Ash does not have any red, however if you hair is darker than the color you will not see it. It works best on light colored hair, blonds and whites. Make sure you do not use baby shampoo, baby shampoo can turn it colors as well as Dr Bonner's and V05 :) I wish you could upload a picture, that would certainly help. If you are getting coppers using brown, then something is stripping the brown. You can certainly go over it again. Oils, leave in conditioners, hair straighteners and other products can cause issues. It's a 10 hair straightener will turn it green. Here is more henna hair dye trouble shooting help.
Thank you.
